Canada

CONFORM® Code Compliance - National Building Code of Canada, 2015

  • Indicates compliance for CONFORM® CF4, CF6, CF8 and CF8i permanent formwork to applicable Code clauses.
  • Indicates compliance for Interior Finish, Exterior Finish, Non-Combustible Construction, Fire Resistance Rating and Structural Requirements
  • Evaluates use for bearing and non-bearing walls and for use in combustible and non-combustible construction
  • Includes Test Results, Consultant Review and references for applicable code clauses:
    • Flame Spread not more than 25
    • Exterior Finish Meets ULC S134
    • Two hour Fire Resistance Rating for CF6, CF8 and CF8i

Code Compliance – NBC

HACCP Canada recommends the use of: CONFORM® - Prefinished Concrete Wall Form & RELINE® - Wall & Ceiling Panel

The construction/renovation of food related facilities provided that the following criteria are met:

  • Manufacturer’s guidelines for installation and use are adhered to particularly as it relates to temperature extremes involving cooking and refrigeration environments.
  • All installations meet local and national building codes for construction of a food related facility (note the CFIA Letters of Acceptance).
  • Standard practices of regular surface cleaning and maintenance are applied.

Based on the present available information no objection will be taken to the installation of said walls systems in food plants provided that:

  • All joints are to be sealed with an acceptable flexible caulking compound to provide a smooth, flush and impervious joint
  • All corners and wall-floor junctions shall be coved, the coving to have a radius of at least 2.5 em

Product Review by BMEC, on July 30, 2010, concluded that “CONFORM may be designed and installed under the current regulations of the Ontario Building Code and does not require an approval from the Commission” .

Florida

CONFORM® - Florida Product Approval

  • Florida Product Approval #FL 15207.
  • Originally issued in 2005 as Royal Building Systems™, Florida Product Approval # FL 7382.
  • Category for Structural Components – Finished Forms.
  • Stay-in-place formwork for 4″, 6″ and 8″ thick, plain and reinforced, concrete walls for residential and commercial construction.
  • Approved for use outside HVHZ.
